Overview
Cequens works on complying with the requested Delivery Time.
A Delivery Time Delay is determined based on 3 levels of termination priority, as per the below table:
Priority Type | Delivery Time |
Critical (OTP Message) | 0~10 Seconds |
Urgent (Transactional Message) | 0~60 Seconds |
Standard (Promotional Message) | Up to 60 minutes for 1 minute per SMS |
Message Types
Critical (OTP Message): A one-time-password message is used for two-factor authentication, financial balance alerts, etc. These messages are time-critical and should be delivered within zero to 10 seconds from sending them.
Urgent (Transactional Message): This message is used for transaction confirmations, customer surveys, package notifications, etc. These messages are time-critical and should be delivered within zero to 60 seconds from sending them.
Standard (Promotional Message): This message is used for sending marketing promo codes, bulk notifications, special offers, advertisements, and promotional campaigns. These messages aren’t as time-critical and should be delivered within one hour from sending them.
Note: You need to use the assigned accounts in same communicated type of traffic. Using mixed-type traffic will impact delivery time and lead to account suspension.
