In this article, we will provide a step-by-step guide to integrating Communication Platform with Magento using a dedicated API key. Magento allows you to sync contacts and data across platforms to build multichannel commerce experiences.
Once you’re logged in to your Magento admin dashboard, follow the below steps:
- Select System > Integrations > Add New Integration
- Choose a suitable name for your integration
- Select the APIs you’d like to allow access. For this guide, we recommend selecting Customers, Mageplaza Extensions, and Global Search
- Click on Save
- Select your new integration from the list and click on Activate
- Click on Allow > Done
- Select Stores > Configuration from the main menu
- Select Services > OAuth
- Under Consumer Settings, make sure the setting “Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as stand-alone Bearer Tokens” is set to Yes
- Click on Save Config
- From the menu, select System > Integrations
- Find your integration on the list then click on Reauthorize
- Click on the Reauthorize button
- Here you should see your Access Token. Copy your Access Token
Log in to your CEQUENS Communication Platform account and follow the below steps:
- Select Integrations
- Locate the Magento card and click on View details
- Enter your domain name (no http:// is added), for example: www.mymagentoinstace.com
- Paste your previously copied Access Token in the API Key box
